Guides
Professional guides provide introductory briefings and lectures, accompany you throughout your itinerary and are generally available to field questions or make suggestions if requested. All guides have an intimate knowledge of local flora and fauna, geography and animal behavior patterns. They all had to endure many years of intense training, both academic (at the Umbwe Wildlife College) and in the field. Most guides are fluent in English and one of the following foreign languages; French, German, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian.
Vehicles
The safari vehicles utilised were all specially converted for maximum space and comfort, with hatched roofs and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photographing during game drives. To ensure reliable performances from all vehicles, every vehicle is checked on a regular basis in one of 3 large workshops in Arusha. One for vehicle inspection before every safari, one for maintenance after every safari and the third for designing and converting of new vehicles. To ensure emergency repairs of vehicles on safaris, a mobile workshop is operated, which was specifically designed to meet emergency repair needs in the bush. All vehicles are also equipped with 2-way radios.

All vehicles are further equipped with:
- Pop-up rooftops
- A pair of binoculars
- A set of referral books
- A cool box
- HF-radios
- Large roof hatches
- Comfortable high-backed seats
- Ample storage space
